Miss Chiquita

Over 50 years and still looking good... Must be the bananas.

Miss Chiquita was born in 1944 when she was created to give our brand a face. And a lovely one it is, don’t you think? No-one seems to know her first name, but we do know that she is related to Hägar the Horrible! The famous cartoonist Dik Browne created them both.

In her earlier days, Miss Chiquita was an animated banana educating people about the nutritional value of fruit. Today, Miss Chiquita selects the best quality fruits and stands for excellent taste.

Over the years, her looks may have changed, but she’ll always be the First Lady of Fruits.
